5. Take One Last Park or Playground Trip
Keep it simple. Pack snacks, grab the bikes or scooters and spend an afternoon at a favorite local park or playground.
Sometimes the easiest outings end up being the ones kids remember most.
6. Plan an Ice Cream Night or Family Picnic
Pick up dinner or pack a simple picnic and head somewhere outdoors.
Finish the evening with ice cream and let the kids choose the spot. It’s an easy way to make an ordinary summer evening feel special.
7. Have One More Creative Day
Pull out the paint, clay, sidewalk chalk, recycled materials or craft supplies and let the kids make something just for fun.
You can also try a simple STEAM challenge, make slime, create tie-dye shirts or put together a family talent show.
