School is ending, summer is beginning, and a new season of memories awaits.

June is here!

There’s something about the first day of June that feels like a fresh start.

The school year is winding down, the days are longer, and families begin looking ahead to summer adventures, vacations, camps, and time spent together.

While January may bring New Year's resolutions, June often feels like the beginning of a different kind of year — one filled with sunshine, possibility, and a slower pace.

For many families, summer memories aren't made during big vacations. They're made during the simple moments.

A trip to the park.

Ice cream after dinner.

Watching fireflies appear on a warm evening.

A day at the pool.

A backyard barbecue with friends.

A family walk after sunset.

These are the moments children remember.

As May comes to a close, it's a great time to pause and appreciate how much has happened during the first half of the year. It’s also a chance to look ahead and think about what we want the months ahead to feel like.

More time outside.

More family adventures.

More creativity.

More connection.

More joy.

Whether your summer plans include travel, local events, camps, festivals, or simply enjoying your own backyard, June reminds us that meaningful memories don't have to be complicated.

At All Children's Art Center of NJ, we're excited to welcome another season of summer camps, theater adventures, art projects, friendships, and creative experiences beginning this month in Bound Brook, Denville, and Boonton.

However you spend your summer, we hope it is filled with laughter, discovery, creativity, and plenty of sunshine.

Happy June, Somerset County families. Here's to a wonderful summer ahead. ☀️
